Something that Jim Jonsin once rebelled against has helped make him one of music’s most accomplished producers. Raised in South Florida, Jim was inundated with the music his parents loved. His mother was a devout Donna Summer, ELO and Fleetwood Mac fan, while his father was a full-blown Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd disciple. Jonsin, however, gravitated towards Hip-Hop and R&B, genres in which Jim would soon become one of the most influential producers of his generation.
Today, Jonsin has been able to combine the common musical sensibilities of the disparate genres of his childhood to become one of music’s most sought-after musical minds. As a Grammy-winning producer, he’s had No. 1 singles with Lil Wayne (“Lollipop”), T.I. (“Whatever You Like”), and Usher (“There Goes My Baby”), and Top 10 singles with Jamie Foxx (“Unpredictable”), Nelly (“Just a Dream”), and Beyonce (“Sweet Dreams”). Building upon his success as a producer, Jim founded a record label, Rebel Rock, and the debut release of his flagship artist B.o.B. landed three platinum-plus singles. In his new partnership with Interscope Records, he plans to duplicate his success finding and developing talent.
Michael “Finatik” Mule and Isaac “Zac” DeBoni, collectively known as “FNZ” are a production duo from Australia signed to Rebel Rock Productions. Finatik began his career as a DJ, winning multiple awards at the national level in Australia for his DJ mixes and battle competitions. He has been sponsored by Ecko clothing, and has worked alongside Isaac with top names in the Hip-Hop genre such as Jurassic 5, Mix Master Mike (of The Beastie Boys), Method Man and Redman.
Zac, a musician since the age of 15, attended the Australian School of Audio Engineering and teamed up with Finatik to hone their production skills. With a strong natural aptitude for music and production, the team was able to work alongside top artists, eventually catching the eye of Jonsin who took notice of the duo and contacted them to work on their development in the States – offering them an opportunity for unparalleled exposure to top industry contacts and artists. Since signing to Rebel Rock, FNZ have produced tracks for Big Krit (“Pay Attention”), A$AP Rocky (“Long Live A$AP”), Wiz Khalifa (“Promises,” “KK,” “Ass Drop”), Ludacris (“Representin” feat. Kelly Rowland) among others.
